A couple of quick news bits...

Revealed after the broadcast of episode 24 (final episode) for Shakugan no SHANA is that theatrical production has been decided. Subsequently, the introduction page for the official website has seen a renewal in midst of the announcement. No further details at the moment, as you can imagine. Stay tuned.

On sale now in Japan is more exciting tunes courtesy of this Fate/another score -super remix tracks- CD; a compilation of 13 choice tracks from Fate/stay night and Fate/hollow ataraxia electronically composed and remixed by KATE and NUMBER 201. Goods included in its first pressing are a specially made sleeve and a character card ramdomly selected from two kinds; Saber and Archer. A streaming CM video can be viewed here. Now when can I expect the torrent of Shana PVCs? The one that just came out from Banpresto is meh to say the least.

Shana~ A cinematic version of Shana will be something to look forward to. But that depends on who will anchor production. I'm sort of weighing my hopes on Madhouse. Don't think J.C. Staff has done any theatricals other than the old-school pair of Slayers and Utena.

Banpresto~ Other than their recent lineup of Akiba Maid figurines, anything with the Banpresto label attached normally causes very little excitement. Their attempt at a Shana PVC is a big fat fail, no doubt. I really do hope one of the bigger players (the GSC contingent, mainly) will provide some respect with a proper Shana PVC.

mmm... a movie for shana... hopefully they won't cram too much into it and keep it somewhat palatable... and hopefully leave the chance open for a second season of sword-swinging loli goodness XD
