Announced earlier today in Minorin's blog is the title of her upcoming single; Paradise Lost, and after some speculation from fans, it is indeed the OP theme to the newly-aired anime series Ga-Rei -Zero-. Lantis has quickly put up a dedicated page featuring a smokin' PV clip. It's a hot tune, with a hot woman delivering it.

I must say that aside from Junpaku Sanctuary, admittedly I was getting a bit bored at the repetitive style of her other PVs -- you know, stand in a open field with a decourated frilly dress and wave your arms around. This PV, though, is much more like it. The huge factor from this excellent video is her glamourous visage. I've always maintained that she has the prettiest face in the seiyuu biz and it's great to see Lantis producers making great use of it. And the Sarah Palin hairdo works brilliantly here. And let's not forget the lovely tall black boots. And that skirt. And presumably the zettai ryouiki quotient ought to be fairly good. In fact, I am losing count at the number of fetishes demostrated in this video and I should stop here before this entry drifts into mindless masturbatory babbling.

You know, and this could be just me, but if those violinists had donned black racing helmets, one could make the argument that this is a Nana Mizuki PV wwww

It's time to get into that Shokotan high again with a new concert DVD, a powerful new theme song for the Gurren Lagann movie and the cherry on top is the CD single's pack-in DVD which documents the making of the Tsuzuku no Sekai PV and Shokotan's appearance at this year's Anime Expo. Additional photos and more to come later~

This is indeed a GIZA big haul and it is always great to have spares, but unfortunately the dupes are for my buddies.

A sticker of the Shoko Nakagawa concert logo customised for Anime Expo which was included in the Tsuzuku no Sekai (DVD LE) CD single. I'm still figuring out where to stick it. In my pooper perhaps? :3

We are now just days away from the Wonder Festival 08 Summer event and as you would imagine it's crunchtime now for many and our little pocket of the hobby internets have unleashed a welter of scoops, updates, and any last minute seductive lures to snatch your attention (and pocket money) away after the big show opens its floodgates this Sunday. And there is quite a massive amount of news I'd damn love to share, but I'll save you from having to read a long dribbling puddle of words (and myself the hassle of having to type them) and only highlight those few that definitely most deserve mention.

Good Smile Company represents at the recent IDOLM@STER 3rd Anniversary Live event and unveils the first volume of their new Petit Nendoroid IDOLM@STER lineup, as well as promoting their Hoshii Miki New Figure of expectation Ver. & Hoshii Miki Awakening Ver. PVCs which are both seeing imminent arrivals; 7500 yen, August release.

Good Smile Company offers a glance at the figma Yuki Evil Magician ver. that will be sold early at WF before the rest of the public gets their grubby paws on it when it's released this Fall.

Happinet and Revoltech have teamed up with 7-Eleven! Fuka Ayase and Danboard are donning their 7-Eleven gear to show off their unbridled passion for all things accessible and convenient. And why wouldn't they for a place that lets you drop off your dry cleaning, file your bicycle registration, or even buy an iPod or two. Both figures are available on November 27th with the Fuka Ayase priced at 2940 yen and Danboard priced at 2205 yen (tax included). But before you make those pre-ordering plans, you can only purchase these via the 7-Eleven website and picked-up only at said store.

VOLKS has unveiled this fantastic looking "1/∞ scale" Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann garage kit. Now this will actually NOT be sold at WF (though I would think they will at least display it at the event), but rather for sale at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show that's being held in October 9th. Those with not so deep pockets, prepare to be in despair, because this item yields a gargantuan price tag of 24,000 yen.

Aoshima Bunka Kyozai Company will be releasing this 1/24 scale die-cast Toyota Corolla Levin Itasha decorated with decals of the Zero no Tsukaima: Princess no Rondo TV series. Price is set tentatively at 5,000 yen and will be sold at their booth at Wonder Festival. Also being released in August is this hilarious 1/32 scale Lucky Star Dump Truck Itasha (unpainted). Price is set at a steep 7140 yen.

THE IDOLM@STER SP Updates; Additional Characters Revealed!

Bandai Namco had just hosted its "Go to the NEW STAGE! THE IDOLM＠STER 3rd ANNIVERSARY LIVE" event yesterday at the Pacifico Yokohama. During the event, naturally, they plugged its upcoming PSP iteration of its im@s franchise, but the showstopper was when the promo video appears to be coming to a close, unveiled then is a silhouette of 3 mysterious girls...

The 3 girls have been revealed to be new idols from 961 Productions, said to be 765 Production's rival. And yes, that is indeed Hoshii Miki you're seeing there -- who had mysteriously been missing when news of the PSP game was first announced -- and she has apparently be transferred to the rivaled 961 Productions. Her and the two new lassies, Hibiki (the ponytail chick) and Takane (the light-haired girl) will be the rival idols that you must apparently defeat in the game. Miki will be the rival character for THE IDOLM@STER SP Missing Moon (Chihaya, Azusa, Ritsuko), Hibiki will be in THE IDOLM@STER SP Perfect Sun (Haruka, Yayoi, Makoto), and Takane is the one to beat in THE IDOLM@STER SP Wondering Star (Yukiho, Iori, Ami and Mami).

Shimotsuki Haruka - "Kaze no Kotowari" / "Eien"

Key's Little Busters! Ecstasy is no doubt receiving a heavy dose of hooplah now that it's finally released -- amongst many other new eroge releases -- but what some of you might not know is that another game release has quietly eek'd its way out of the whole commotion. That game would be 5 -Five-, developed by RAM, a visual novel studio that's in fact also under the Visual Art's firm. And some of the most luminesced of visual novel luminaries have formed together to create this charming little game, such as Maeda Jun serving as the main music composer (a new and first role for him) and a couple of his trusted and considered comrades such as Kai writing the scenario and Tokino heading the background art.

But even more as impressive and simply too epic of a pairing that no one would have ever dreamt of is Shimotsuki Haruka and Meada Jun collaborating on the game's OP/ED theme songs. To have these two musical pantheons sit and intercourse with one another in the same room is special beyond words.

The CD single for the OP/ED theme was released alongside the game as a pre-order commodity and indeed it has made its way into your friendly neigbourhood torrent site.

Not too long ago I was discussing with a few buddies on various experimental ways to retrieve im@s DLC here in the states IF and when I were to get a JP Xbox 360 and im@s. Those talks have been halted indefinitely after the latest issue of Famitsu has unveiled that Namco Bandai will be releasing "THE IDOLM@STER SP" onto the Sony PSP platform! Though, it must be said, they've done something that is both quite devious and ingenious; there will be three versions of the game, each with a different set of characters:
